ABL Lights Group AB, former NBB, Nordisk Bilbelysning AB, is a manufacturer of lighting products to all kind of vehicles with long experience in the business.
Our predecessor ROBO (RObert BOsch) was founded in 1921 to distribute Bosch products
in Sweden.

1946 the production of headlights started in Sweden and 1955 the production moved from Stockholm to Linköping, where we are located today.

We have manufactured lighting products to the world leading vehicle industries since 1946.
The first headlamps we made was for Volvo PV 444.

NBB Nordisk Bilbelysning AB was established 1992 after a management buy-out from AB ROBO, a company within the Bosch group. Already 1996 we developed work lamps with
Xenon technology which made us the first producer of high performing Xenon work lamps
and auxiliary lamps.

Since year 2000 we are owned by the company Holophane S.A., one of the largest glass producers for the Automotive lighting business in the world.

In the year 2006 our competitors Auteroche in France and ABL in USA join the Holophane group and " Lighting division" is formed. Lighting division with NBB, Auteroche and ABL is
one of the strongest operators on the market for work lamps.
2008 Nordisk Bilbelysning AB, ABL Lights, Inc och Auteroche S.A. join forces to ABL Lights Group AB with headquarter in Linköping.

 

Today ABL Lights Group is a modern and highly efficient manufacturer of lighting products for vehicles. Vi manufacture work lamps, auxiliary lamps, full and half beam, fog lamps, rotating beacons, tail lamps, reversing lights and more.

ABL Lights Group is responsible for the whole process, from idea, construction to complete
manufacturing.

We have one of the most advanced light laboratories at our disposal. We also have sophisticated measure- and test equipment. Our lamps are exposed to exhausting tests before they are released from our factory.

To us, only the best quality, is good enough.

 

Headlights and lamps are today attached to many of the most well known vehicle

manufacturers, amongst others, Volvo, Scania, Peugeot, BMW, Mercedes, Cadillac,

Hummer, Citroën and Isuzu.
